Endoflex for Hot Flashes
My hot flashes disappeared after using Endoflex Essential Oil Blend under the tongue. Peppermint essential oil on the back of my neck, chest, head and bottoms of feet kept me cool until I got there.Author: April Travis Posted: 2005-06-17
Help with Hot Flashes
All I have to say is ‘Ningxia Red’ – that stuff is WONDERFUL! I have found that if I drink this in the morning I have had NO hot flashes all morning long. By afternoon I take another and I am good for the rest of the day. I use peppermint at night to control night sweats. I even run my fingers through my hair and scalp to keep me cool. Heat rises and comes out at the top and this works for me.Author: Cynthia Tait Posted: 2007-10-04
Relief from Hot Flashes
I began ingesting SclarEssence essential oil blend (per the directions in the Essential Oils Desk Reference) on October 19. My purpose was to alleviate menopause symptoms – hot flashes, restlessness, insomnia, etc. I ingested ten drops in a capsule once that day. I had NO hot flashes for the next 24 hours – I was accustomed to 7-10 severe hot flashes per day, including through the night that would wake me several times and then I would have trouble falling back to sleep.
The next day, Oct. 20th, I ingested 8 drops in a capsule once during the day. I experienced the bare beginnings of a hot flash but it never transpired. Oct. 21, I went back to the 10 drops in a capsule to ingest. No hot flashes or any other symptoms.
I also experienced immediate improvement in my quality of sleep. Gentle Baby, Valor, and other oils helped, but hot flashes in the night wake you no matter what! I had forgotten how wonderful it feels to wake up refreshed and rested. I remember now, it’s wonderful!

Change of Life – Hot Flashes – Night Sweats
I have found Young Living’s Endoflex Oil Blend and FemiGen Supplement is the best combination, for me. A glass of water with a drop of Peppermint Oil is very cooling when suffering from Hot Flashes.Author: Betty Walczak Posted: 2007-08-30
Ningxia Red and Endoflex for Hot Flashes
I have found Endoflex to be beneficial to my symptoms of hot flashes, brought on by menopause. I put a dab on each of my index fingers and then rub it into the bottom of my feet, or sometimes into my wrist. However, at the same time I started using Endoflex I started drinking Ningxia Red every morning, (about 1-2 oz.) so I attribute my controlling of hot flashes to both products. When I forget to put on Endo-Flex I do find that I’m more prone to having a hot flash, and the same goes when I forget (another menopause symptom) to consume my daily Ningxia Red juice.Author: Phyllis Cameron Posted: 2005-12-30
Peppermint Cools My Hot Flashes
I am postmenopausal due to a hysterectomy. Health problems prohibit me from using any kind of hormone replacement therapy or herbal support for hormone function. So, I’m always on the lookout for new ideas to try for the various symptoms that crop up.
I have found that a few drops of Peppermint essential oil added to a glass of ice water cools off my occasional hot flashes in no time flat.Author: Irene Wiener Posted: 2006-05-20
Hormone Balancing Assistance
My experience has been with Young Living’s Progessence Cream (contains natural progesterone and essential oils), and I love it. No more hot flashes, mood swings, etc. Use it once or twice a day in a meaty area of the body. It smells good, easy. Clary sage oil is also good, helps REM sleep, good dreams, and also balances hormones. But, don’t drink alcohol or you’ll have mild hallucinations and weird dreams. I found that out by accident, since I only drink once or twice a year. I am 59, haven’t been on any HRT for at least 15 years. Young Living products are the only thing I’ve used to balance hormones.Author: Sandra Ingersoll Posted: 2007-04-28
Hot Flash Relief from Peppermint
I experience minor to moderate hot flashes due to the approach of menopause. If I apply peppermint oil neat to the back of my neck and forehead this makes me feel much cooler.Author: Jude Ker Posted: 2005-07-23 No More Hot Flashes with Prenelone+ Having suffered from hot flashes and tried all of the Young Living Products, including the old Espro 7, nothing seemed to stop them completely.
I ordered the Prenolone+ Cream (contains pregnenolone and essential oils) when it came out a couple of years ago and have been using this product ever since. No more hot flashes. I am also using Endofllex on my ankles. Since I had a hysterectomy 28 years ago I do not follow the 21 days on 7 days off. I just use it everyday. Gary Young has truly come up with a product I needed.Author: Shauna Dastrup Posted: 2004-06-11
Hot Flashes After a Hysterectomy
I was put on hormone pills after a complete hysterectomy years ago. When I stopped taking them I went on a search for something natural. NingXia Red Helped my Hot Flashes
I cannot believe that just 1 ounce can make you feel so alive. Being a woman in my early 50’s I’m starting the dreaded “change of life” with night sweats and hot flashes. Since starting in September I have yet to have any signs of menopause. Author: Donna Dunning Posted: 2005-01-12
Using Sulferzyme for Hot Flashes
I was startled when I experienced all this heat rising up my neck, started pouring with sweat, profusely from my neck, which I hardly ever sweat. And than my whole body felt like it was on fire. And I realized I was going through what’s described as hot flashes. I used to see my sister who’s 2 years older than I go through it pretty bad and suggested different products for her, and what she found worked for her is taking Comfortone - 2 in the morning and 2 at night. What worked for me was taking 1 full tablespoon of Sulfurzyme in almond or organic soy milk 1 -2 x per day and the flashes are completely gone. Thank God, I never want to experience that again. By the way it took about a week for me to acknowledge what I was going through. Also my bones were starting to creak a bit in my lower back and knees. I feel a combination of the Sulfurzyme and the BLM (Bones, Ligament & Muscle) came to my rescue with those issues.
I thank God everyday for these wonderful tools he put here and for blessing Dr. Gary Young with his integrity and passion for purity and putting him through all the obstacles he goes through which shows him how to help himself and in turn teach us how to help ourselves.Author: Linda Greenfield Posted: 2006-05-08
Clary Sage for Hot Flashes, Menopause and Insomnia
There is good news for all those annoying menopause symptoms. The symptoms of menopause have many contributing factors so I keep the following oils close at hand when symptoms appear:
Clary Sage, Geranium , Peppermint , Valor , Trauma Life , NingXia Red
For hot flashes, night sweats and insomnia, I use Clary sage for its hormone balancing ability. I dilute my Clary, 15 drops of Clary Sage to 4ml of Young Living V-6 carrier oil. I keep this in a roll-on bottle by my bedside. Just one roll down the bottom of each foot and then a quick massage to work it in and I sleep through the night with no night sweats and no 2 am wake up.
Clary Sage is a very effective oil and not much is needed to achieve the desired effect. Please note that Clary Sage also enhances the sedative effects of alcohol and drugs so use extra sparingly if you must use these types of drugs. Yes, alcohol is a drug!
Geranium is another great hormone balancing oil that is best for daytime use because many find it to be stimulating. It too can be diluted in a quality carrier oil (Young Living V-6 Mixing Oil). Apply it to the bottom of feet, to the wrist or draw a line with it across the bottom of your tummy when you get out of the shower in the morning. In as little as 1 to 3 days you will probably notice the classic symptoms disappearing.
When using either Clary Sage or Geranium, you can use it intermittently as the symptoms appear. If you chose to use either of them daily, discontinue use after 3 weeks and wait a week before you start again.
Peppermint applied to the neck or temples is great quick fix relief from hot flashes. It does not help the hormonal imbalance but does improve circulation.
Valor and Trauma Life will help ease your way as you make the life changes demanded. Menopause is a time of change. Your body is asking you to recognize a different phase of your life and honor it. This means we have to redefine who we are as women. Valor gives us the strength and courage to become who we are meant to be. Trauma Life helps us release the pain of past lessons so we can be free to embrace our future.
And please, if you are not drinking NingXia Red, start now! I believe Ningxia Red helps your changing metabolism stay more balanced.
Hormones play such an important role in all the body systems that affect metabolism hence the range of symptoms you see. Ningxia not only provides some great anti-oxidants but it also helps your body efficiently use the fuels you supply it with.
Menopause is asking us to change. This does not have to be a traumatic time if we gracefully accept the invitation to step into a new role. Finding ways to provide your body with it’s new requirements and embracing the new journey ahead will ease this time in your life.
